Fractional CO₂ laser is highly effective for lighter skin types (Fitzpatrick I-III), but may carry higher risk of pigmentation changes in darker skin tones. A consultation is essential to assess safety and customize settings.
Downtime is typically 5–7 days with redness, swelling, and peeling. Skin gradually renews in the first week, with ongoing improvement for several weeks.
