Mole & Wart Removal – CO₂ Laser Treatment
Remove unwanted skin lesions safely and precisely — for cosmetic comfort and clear skin
To remove benign skin lesions such as moles, skin tags, warts, seborrheic keratoses, and other raised or pigmented growths. Ideal for patients who want smooth, clear skin without surgical cutting or scarring.
A CO₂ laser is used to vaporize the lesion layer by layer with high precision, targeting only the unwanted tissue while sparing the healthy skin around it. Local anaesthetic is applied to ensure comfort during the procedure. No stitches are needed.
The lesion is removed during the session. A small scab forms and typically falls off within 7–14 days. The treated area continues to fade and heal over the following weeks. Most lesions do not return, though some (like viral warts) may require follow-up.
Permanent removal of the treated lesion. In some cases, repeat treatment may be needed (especially for warts or deeper growths).
1600 kr for 1–2 lesions
400 kr per additional lesion
15–30 minutes depending on number and size of lesions. Larger quantities may require additional time.
Yes — sun exposure increases the risk of pigmentation changes and delayed healing after CO₂ laser treatment. You should avoid strong sun and tanning (including sunbeds) for at least 4 weeks before your appointment, and for at least 4–6 weeks afterwards while the skin is healing. If you have a tan or plan to travel to sunny destinations shortly after treatment, we may need to postpone your appointment to ensure the best and safest results.
Any lesion removal, including with CO₂ laser, will leave some form of mark as the skin heals. In most cases, this is minimal and fades over time, especially with proper aftercare. The size, depth, and type of lesion all influence how noticeable the final result will be.
Yes. Multiple lesions can be treated in the same session, depending mainly on their size, location, and the length of the appointment. In most cases, we can remove around 10 small to medium-sized lesions in a one-hour session.
You can usually apply makeup gently over the treated area once a dry scab has formed, as long as there is no oozing or open wound. For most people, this is within 1–3 days. Use clean brushes or applicators to avoid irritation or infection.
Moles generally do not return if completely removed. In some cases, especially in sensitive areas, we may remove the lesion more superficially to avoid a prolonged recovery. This can increase the small chance of regrowth. Occasionally, a healing lesion may appear as though it has returned, but this is simply part of the normal recovery process. Warts are different — they may recur if the virus that causes them remains in the skin.
Yes — moles can be removed safely if they are assessed as benign. We always examine each mole first, and if there are any features that could suggest skin cancer, we will recommend further investigation or a biopsy with your GP before removal.
