A fine laser fiber is inserted under the skin through a tiny incision. The laser delivers heat to melt fat cells and simultaneously stimulate collagen production, which improves skin firmness. Local anaesthetic is used for comfort. The liquefied fat is either naturally metabolized by the body or gently suctioned, depending on the treatment area.
Patients typically notice a slimmer contour and firmer skin within a few weeks, with progressive improvement as collagen builds. One session per area is usually enough for visible results, though larger areas may require multiple sessions.
Results are long-lasting because treated fat cells are permanently destroyed. Skin tightening effects continue to improve for 3–6 months after treatment. Maintaining a stable weight helps preserve results.
