FAQ

Is it painful?

Most clients find Botox injections only mildly uncomfortable and very quick. We use ultra-fine needles to minimise any sensation — most treatments are done with premium 32G FMS needles, which patients often describe as barely noticeable. For certain sensitive areas, we may use the TSK Invisible Needle, one of the thinnest in the world at just 0.2 mm. Numbing cream is not used, as it must be applied for at least an hour to work and can make the skin firmer, meaning the needle requires more force — often making the experience less comfortable, not more.

Do I need downtime?

No. You can return to work or daily activities immediately after the treatment. Some clients may notice small red spots or slight swelling at the injection sites, but these usually fade within 10-20 minutes.

How often should I repeat this treatment?

Most people repeat the treatment every 3 to 4 months to maintain smooth and natural-looking results. The exact timing depends on your muscle strength, metabolism, and aesthetic goals.

When will I see results?

Most clients start to notice smoother skin within 3–5 days, with full results visible after about 2 weeks.

What is Wrinkle Treatment commonly called?

Most people simply refer to call it as “Botox” For general information, you can read more here: Botox Lillestrøm | Botox Tromsø.

In Norway, the Legemiddelloven (Medicines Act) §13–5 prohibits the marketing of prescription-only medicines to the general public. Botox® is the brand name of a prescription medicine, and its use for aesthetic purposes falls under this restriction. To comply with the law, we refer to the procedure in general terms such as “Wrinkle Treatment” rather than using the brand name in public marketing. This ensures that all information remains within the legal framework set by the Norwegian Medicines Agency (Statens legemiddelverk).
